Founded by photographer Alexandra Simms, Canonbury Press is a British stationery studio creating artisan greeting cards and paper goods. Drawing on Alexandra’s photographic work, the collection brings together fine art photography, beautiful colour and a thoughtful approach to print.

The studio was established in Canonbury, North London, in 2023 as a platform for Alexandra’s photographic work, translating her images into finely made paper goods. Each design is carefully composed and photographed in the studio, with particular attention given to colour, composition and how the image will translate to paper.

Every design is printed in England using carefully chosen materials, including Italian-milled papers and traditional card stocks. Craft and attention to detail underpin the making process, from the original photography through to paper weight, colour reproduction and hand-finishing.
