Founded by photographer Alexandra Simms, Canonbury Press is a British stationery studio creating artisan greeting cards and paper goods. Design-led and rooted in still-life photography, the collection is defined by bold compositions, beautiful colour and a thoughtful approach to print.

The studio was established in Canonbury, North London, in 2022 as a platform for Alexandra Simms’ photographic work, translating her visual language into finely made paper goods. Each design is carefully composed and developed with print in mind, resulting in collections that are visually distinctive and considered in their execution.

Every design is photographed and printed in England using carefully chosen materials, including Italian-milled papers and traditional card stocks. Craft and attention to detail underpin the making process, from the artwork itself through to paper weight, colour reproduction and hand-finishing.
